Site History

I've been publishing this website since the summer of 2000.  Within that time, it's used a number of different names (the most recent of which was 'Any Whimsy') and served a number of different purposes.  Initially published under rpg.asdc.net, it acted mainly as a fansite for Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.  Over time, its purpose has changed, until now, when it serves as a small portfolio of my various projects.  On April 9, 2009, Any Whimsy got a new domain name: elizabethfrey.us!

Figurehead Kiss

Figurehead Kiss (FK) was a fanlisting devoted to two characters from Garth Nix's Old Kingdom trilogy.  A fanlisting is a website that allows fans from all over the world to connect on a member list and get in touch with one another.  FK was listed on thefanlistings.org from September 2004 to January 2007, when I decided to close it as I had lost my enthusiasm for the series (although it still remains a childhood favorite).

Sugar Cravings

Throughout high school I maintained a webforum on which my friends used to discuss world issues and roleplay (collaborate on a story line by writing from the perspective of one character per participant).
